I had headache so I checked the doctor he said you maybe have 0.5 so he prescribed glasses but now I don't need to wear them, I this exercise + looking very far away when i was waking outside and I also use to close my eyes in the shower and let the water hit my eyes for a few minutes try these things and tell your experience

I went to Sri Auribondo Ashram in 2015 where they do eye yoga. I went twice a day for 45 minute sessions for 9 days. My left eye was -3.75 and right eye was -3.5 before i started, during the 9 days wearing my glasses caused headaches. After 9 days the optician tested my eyes and my left eye was -2.75 and right eye was -3.00. I have maintained that ever since, i bet if i continued the exercises they taught i would have 20 20 vision!!! Im still wearing the glasses they gave me!!! Im not surprised his minimum number of exercises have made a difference, i think i need to start again!!

My prescription was -5.5 on my left eye and -6.0 on my right eye. In 8 months, I saw a remarkable improvement to -3.0 on my left eye and -3.5 on my right eye. Highly effective!

Hey guys I have been practicing these exercises twice a day for two weeks and now I can see better than before without specs. A noticeable improvement !! on the way!! I would like to recommend one more thing. Other than these exercises try avoiding spectacles or lenses wherever possible. And if you look at nature like walking everyday in park without spectacles your vision will get better (not 100%sure just my experience)

When my glasses broke, I had to use my old glasses. There was a difference of 0.50 degrees between them. I used my old glasses for a long time and when I went to the doctor he told me that they had dropped by 0.25 degrees. If your doctor tells you to go without glasses from time to time, do so. It forces your lens to do all the work. You can also do this yourself: Go someplace where you can look far into the distance (outside is obviously best, but a window will do). Hold a pen or something similar in front of you at a comfortable reading distance. Close one eye. Focus on the pen. Now shift your focus to something in the distance. Then shift back to the pen. Repeat that, trying to see each object as clearly as possible. Do this for 30 seconds, then switch eyes, then do the same with both eyes. You have just put your lenses and the muscles they control them through a workout!

Thanks a lot I used to be very troubled by my eyes and headache, but I randomly did this exercise one day when my condition worsened with pain but I got so much relief in one day's exercise, which I did not get after seeing the doctor and taking medicine. You know I am 17 years old and I have used my phone laptop computer monitor all day and all night for about 6to 7 years straight . But I don't have glasses because I think that always watching the screen I took 2 minute seeing farer distant object and keep focusing on them then again using my display but only one eye one time, one eye closed Hope this would work better watching displays believe me it is real do this every half an hour or 1hour watching the screen this is a good option thanks

EyeCare , I have 4.5 in both eyes,and I wanna try the exercises starting tomorrow,but,should I wear my glasses while doing them? And should I, generally speaking,try and lessen my use of glasses? My migraines have significantly reduced in the matter of a few days. I have extremely light-sensitive eyes (have to wear sunglasses in front of tv), slight stigmatism and horrible focal issues, topping it up with chronically dry eyes. Using my eyes at all hurts. Ok my takeaway from this website and little research on internet says that our eyes are used to focus on near objects all the time as we read, use mobiles, work on computers and so many things so it strains our eye muscles very badly. Now what we need to do is these exercises so eyes get relax and also start seeing things at distance for example go out or on ur terrace, look at the sky for 15 seconds, than some tree or house at a distance, than focus on ur thumbnail or hand or some near object for 15 secs, keeping doing it several times everyday. Also, blink some more conciously. Take proper sleep so ur eyes get rest for at least 5 hours... The more relax ur eyes are, the more ur eye muscles will be strong and it can improve ur eye sight

With -4.5 in both eyes, I was always reliant on my glasses. But after 8 months of dedicated eye exercises, my vision improved dramatically to -3.0 in my left eye and -3.5 in my right eye. Yes, I also used to do eye exercises. By the grace of Almighty, my eye power came down to -1.0 (Left), -0.75 (Right) from approx. -2.5 (Left), -2.25 (Right) in last 2-3 years! Edit: I also did cupping/ hijama for acne problems at that time. Cupping points were on top of the head (aligned to the spinal cord), the back side of the head, the neck, back, etc. Alhamdulillah, my 4-5 years pimples got cured after 3/4 sessions within 4 weeks, also avoided junk, oily foods at that time. After these cupping sessions, my eyesight also improved. Also did the eye exercises at that time!
